NEVS Targets 20,000 Saab 9-3 EV In First Year

By  |

Ever since the National Electric Vehicle Sweden bought over Saab, they have been out and about with the production of a new-generation 9-3. The sedan is expected to make its debut later this year and it will be the first Saab in history to run on a full EV engine.

Now, NEVS is back to announce that they are hoping to sell at least 20,000 Saab 9-3 EV in the vehicle’s first year. However, the target is only applied for the 9-3 EVs that are shipped to China. Since we already know about NEVS deal with Panda New Energy from China, we find it highly likely for NEVS to reach their goal.

Heck, we won’t be surprised if the 9-3 EV manages to achieve impressive sales figures at wherever it is shipped to. There is already a growing demand for electric cars and the 9-3 EV’s arrival will definitely supply well to those that are looking for a new electric vehicle.
