New Corvette ZR1 Is Cooler Than Bugatti Veyron, Literally

All the attention is on GM at the moment as the company had just unveiled the all-new Chevrolet Corvette ZR1. The next-gen ZR1 will be going on sale next year and the car is a big leap forward from its predecessor.

By now, most of you should be aware of the fact that the ZR1 will run on a 6.2L mill with a whopping 755hp to offer. Today, we have something new for you to love about the upcoming Corvette ZR1 and it is the sophisticated coolant system.

One of the problems with a Corvette is that the car tends to overheat quickly when competing on the track. GM has taken the initiative to improve the ZR1 on this front and the result is the application of 13 heat exchangers.

To put things into context, the Bugatti Veyron only has 10 heat-exchangers and we can expect this upgrade to keep the ZR1 lasting on your track days. For further details on the cooling mechanism, you can refer to the diagram below.
