Next Nissan Leaf: 3 Ways It Can Stop Tesla Model 3

By  |

The next-gen Nissan Leaf is confirmed to be in development and the car is expected to hit the market somewhere in Q4 this year. Unlike how it is with the Chevrolet Bolt, the next-gen Leaf seems more likely to be the car that can stop the Model 3.

This cannot be helped as Nissan has teased on three things that can bring the Leaf to glory. They are range, autonomous technology and price.

Nissan has said before that they are targeting at least 300 miles for the next Leaf and this looks enough for it to outdo the Model 3. After all, Tesla has said that the Model 3 will be a lesser version of the Model S which means that the car may not go beyond 300 miles driving range.

Nissan also mentioned that they will be introducing their brand of autonomous technology with the next-gen Leaf called ProPilot. While we have yet to see any demonstrations of it, the ProPilot system is said to be better than Tesla’s Autopilot.

The Leaf will cap things off with a price tag that is very close to the current figures. This means that the Leaf will be extremely affordable to own thus putting it in a strong position to beat the Model 3.
