Next Nissan Z Allegedly Looking Up To BMW Z4, Toyota Supra!

By  |

It is a widely known fact that the next-gen Supra is getting pieced together alongside the next-gen Z4 as part of a collaboration involving Toyota and BMW. Both carmakers are able to save on development costs through parts sharing and it will benefit the next Supra and Z4.

Despite the two cars not being out yet, many have described the partnership as a success and it appears that Nissan share the same sentiment. The carmaker is being called out to produce the successor to the 370Z and they are allegedly considering a partnership deal to develop the next-gen Z-car.

Japanese magazine Response made those claims loud and clear when they shared that Nissan has been negotiating with Mercedes-Benz and if both parties are to reach an agreement, it will see the German luxury brand having a big role to play in the development of the next-gen Z.

While rumours should be taken with a grain of salt, the above is likely to be true and this is especially since Mercedes and Nissan has collaborated in a number of high-profile projects. Also, if it does come true, we can expect an official reveal happening later this year.
