Next Porsche 911 GT3 Will Arrive With Only A Single Configuration

There have a been a lot of talks about the next-gen Porsche 911 GT3 coming out later this year and today, new information are suggesting that the vehicle will only have a single powertrain configuration.

As how it was reported by CarScoops, the next 911 GT3 will allegedly arrive with a single turbocharged powertrain and only one type of transmission.

In detail, the 911 GT3 will rely on a turbo-6 mill and power will be managed by the PDK gearbox. Such a setup would mean that a manual and standard automatic won’t be offered with the 911 GT3 at all.

If this is true, it would be interesting to see how fans of the 911 GT3 will react to the limited offering. The 911 has always been a car built for driving enthusiasts and the lack of options with the next 911 GT3 may paint a negative image on Porsche. What do you think?
