Nissan 370Z Successor Queued Behind IDS
Nissan went to the 2017 New York Auto Show in full style as they pulled the curtains off a new kind of Rogue and also a special edition 370Z. The fact that the 370Z was exhibited in New York got many wondering on the future of the Z-car and Nissan actually provided an answer for it.
The only problem with this is that Nissan’s response to queries about the next-gen Z-car is not pleasing to the ears. Nissan said that the 370Z’s successor is not their priority right now and this means that we are still a long way away from its development.
On the other hand, it also suggests that Nissan is busy with a different goal at the moment and the obvious answer to this is the next-gen Leaf. The future Leaf is tipped to come out this year and it promises some autonomous ability as well as more than 200 miles of driving range.
Spy shots have also confirmed that the next-gen Leaf is going to be a lot prettier than the current Leaf and this is due to the fact that the car is based on the IDS concept from last year. Perhaps, if the future Leaf is done, we can expect Nissan to move on into other projects like the successor for the 370Z.
