Nissan GT-R Pays Tribute To Chevrolet Cobalt SS
The Nissan GT-R is worlds apart from the Chevrolet Cobalt SS despite the fact that both vehicles are tailored to offer the best performance around. The Nissan GT-R is described as supercar-killer whereas the Cobalt SS is nothing more than a domestic performance vehicle.
This is why we can’t help but laugh at the Nissan GT-R which attempts to become a Cobalt SS. The GT-R we are talking about ditches the GT-R moniker and Nissan badging for that of a Chevrolet and a Cobalt SS.
The move is an obvious downgrade but it could be because the owner must have been madly in love with the Cobalt SS prior to owning the GT-R.
Today, the Cobalt SS is a car that is no longer getting produced by Chevrolet. The vehicle has been phased out since 2011 and some criticized this decision since the absence of the Cobalt SS gives the Subaru WRX a free pass in the market.
