Nissan Leaf Anti-Model 3 Ad Is Worth It
A couple of months ago, Nissan launched a new web ad that went viral and this is due to its provocative nature. In case you have missed it, you can check out the embedded image above for a rough look at the web ad.
The image speaks for itself and it is very direct at it. While no names were mentioned, it is obvious that Nissan is hating on the upcoming Tesla Model 3. Nissan questioned the public on the integrity of going green as most of them are choosing to pre-order and wait for the Model 3, even when the car is not finalized yet.
If the green mission is to be absolute, then the already-proven Leaf would have been sufficed for the consumers. The remark from Nissan does make sense but they also need to realize that a new Leaf is needed to be more attractive.
We never thought that the ad can help boost the sales of the aging Nissan Leaf and this is a mistake from our end. Surprisingly, the heated ad managed to return great sales gains for the Nissan Leaf. The EV car sales figures touched new heights in December last month. It goes to say that the investment made towards the web ad is well worth it.
