Porsche 911 Turbo S Nice Try Tesla Model S P90D

The Tesla Model S P90D with Ludicrous Mode demonstrated to the world that you can still go fast when running on a green car. With the large battery pack on the P90D and a system that can cleverly manage the limitless torque, the Model S is able to accelerate faster than other great supercars.

Names like the Nissan GT-R and Audi R8 are among the few that have lost to the Model S in acceleration battles but this is not enough to worry the likes of Porsche. The latter was just credited by various auto journalists for producing the fastest and hardest accelerating vehicle and it is known as the 911 Turbo S.

The 911 Turbo S may not have the best 0-60mph time but when it comes to 0-50 and below, it is the fastest vehicle around. Furthermore, the 911 Turbo S can gain speed rapidly between 80-120mph and this makes it a beast of a car.

With such an accomplishment, it explains why Porsche are not worried by the Tesla Model S P90D. It also raises the prospects of the future Model E, which is going to be Porsche’s first full EV sports car.
