The seventh generation Porsche 911 brought out more exciting variants like the 991.1 GT3 but today, most 991.1 GT3 on the roads are unable to offer an acceptable performance.

The issue here is with the driving modes which have failed to function appropriately. In detail, the 991.1 GT3 has been experiencing misfire at high revs and the check engine light keeps on popping up when trying to push the car to the limits.

The cause of the issue is unknown at the moment but Porsche has already promised a fix for it. As they search for a solution, Porsche has taken the extra step in ensuring customer satisfaction and this is through offering free extended warranty.

The German carmaker revealed that owners of the affected 991.1 GT3 will get a free warranty upgrade to 10 years or 120,000 miles. This is quite a massive offering thus showing the length Porsche is willing to go just to protect their customer’s satisfaction.
