Tesla Caught On A Plunge After Failing Model S, X

By  |

It seems that things are not looking so good for Tesla at the moment after several reports of the Model S and Model X failing got circulated around the web. It all started last week when a Model X that caught fire highlights on a safety flaw with the vehicle.

Today, a new issue has popped up and it is with Automatic Emergency Braking feature on the Model S. The feature was heavily marketed by Tesla but many Model S owners never really received Automatic Emergency Braking on their cars.

One of the victims is Consumer Reports, which only received the feature several months after purchasing the Model S. The sluggish safety update forced Consumer Reports’ hand to take away points from the carmaker.

As such, Tesla has dropped several places on the recommendation charts which confirm that it is no longer in the Top 7 brands in the automotive segment.
