Tesla Model 3 Can Keep Up With Chevy Bolt
The fact that the Chevrolet Bolt has got a head-start in sales has led many thinking that the upcoming Tesla Model 3 may not be able to compete with it. Well, if you are thinking likewise, you may want to think again because the Model 3 looks highly likely to outdo the Bolt on every front.
This is proven by the launching sales figures of the Chevrolet Bolt, which is not entirely impressive. The Bolt only accumulated 4 figures at best and the numbers are growing at snail pace. This is partly due to the fact that GM has failed to launch the Bolt in a nationwide-scale.
Meanwhile, the Model 3 has accumulated more than 300,000 pre-orders and all Tesla has to do is launch the car before delivering it to the people who ordered. Hence, it is safe to say that the 300,000 Model 3 has been sold already and the numbers can only grow from there.
The Model 3 is expected to make a final unveiling later this year before coming out early next year hence we don’t think that the gap in time is enough for the Bolt to accumulate 300,000 pre-orders.
Besides, the Bolt can’t even kill off an old EV in the name of the Nissan Leaf thus they will definitely struggle when the Model 3 arrives. What do you think?
