Tesla Model 3: EV Rebates At Risk Of Getting Voided

By  |

Tesla’s CEO, Elon Musk, may have stated that the upcoming Model 3 will be making its official public appearance in July next month but this does not guarantee an immediate release of the electric car.

Today, new reports have surfaced and they are claiming that the Model 3 has suffered a year-long delay in production. It was stated that production of the Model 3 is unable to hit full throttle and this is due to parts being severely limited.

If that is not bad enough, Tesla recently confirmed that they are now mass producing the battery cell for the Model 3 and analysts are indicating that there is still so much for Tesla to do if to complete the Model 3.

The bad side to this is that the Model 3 may get released next year and it would mean being unable to enjoy the ongoing rebates given to new EV buyers. It is a race against time and Tesla will need to be on their toes if they want to avoid the worst possible outcome for the Model 3
