Tesla Model X P100D: Ludicrous Can’t Save It From ‘Slowest’ Title!

By  |

There is no questioning the fact that EVs are fast and this is especially since Tesla proved their worth through launching the Model S and Model X P100D with Ludicrous Mode.

The P100D variants of the two vehicles have demonstrated their world-beating drag performance and it has convinced the masses that EVs can go really fast.

But in the case of the Model X P100D, the EV crossover from Tesla has apparently received the title of the slowest around the Eboladrome. The vehicle participated in a lap test from popular hit TV series, The Grand Tourer, and it finished with a time that is near equal to the Ford Mustang GT.

This is a commendable result if you are to consider that the Model X P100D is never designed for optimal track performance. The show’s host, Jeremy Clarkson, share the same sentiment but the fact that there is no direct rival for the lad to compare the Model X with makes it a vehicle in its own league.

Hence the quote, “the Model X P100D with Ludicrous Mode is the fastest EV SUV to ever race on the Ebolardrome and it is also the slowest while at that.”
