Tesla Motors: The Unheard Critics For Autopilot 2.0

By  |

During New Year’s day, Tesla shared that 2017 will bring the automotive world one step closer into full autonomous realization as they will be launching Autopilot 2.0. The full system is not out yet but you can already test it out by downloading a beta version.

Autopilot 2.0 Beta is now available for download and while it promises plenty of exciting things, the system is being condemned by some of the testers.

It was reported at a Tesla Club forum that his Model S banged into another road user when carrying out the test and Tesla didn’t want to take full responsibility for it. It was then the tester realized that he had become a specimen for Tesla and this is a danger to the other road users. It gets worse when we saw a couple of replies claiming on experiencing the same things.

These complaints should serve as an important wake-up call but their voices are not heard. Perhaps, the above should be able to serve as reminder to Autopilot 2.0 testers on the dangers of testing beta autonomous for a company that won’t bear any damages attained from it.
