Tesla Semi Cools Down Range Anxiety Ahead Of Official Debut!

In less than 24 hours from now, all eyes will be on Tesla once again as the EV carmaker will be pulling the curtains off the semi truck. Tesla revealed that the semi will change the way logistics work in the near future but this is not enough to convince the majority of enthusiasts.

Early reports have indicated that the semi truck will have about 300 miles of driving range to offer and this is obviously not enough for a long-distance transporting. If that is not bad enough, charging a large battery on the semi will be time consuming thus it won’t work well in the logistic industry.

Should this be the case, many expect the semi to fail but we can now confirm that isn’t going to happen.

Tesla’s Elon Musk took it to Twitter today to reveal that the speculated driving range is far behind the semi’s true capabilities. This was followed up by an insider report which claimed that the semi will be capable of 450 miles.

While it still won’t be enough for a time-efficient cross-country service, such a range would certainly do well for inner-state logistics. All will be confirmed when the semi gets unveiled tomorrow.
