Toyota May Force Back FJ Cruiser For Ford Bronco

Every passing day brings us closer to the return of the Ford Bronco and many can’t wait to see the 4×4 SUV in person. For the enthusiasts, they are hoping for the Ford Bronco to spice up the 4×4 market which has long been dominated by a single name – the Jeep Wrangler.

Having the next-gen Bronco around will add in more options in the popular segment and it will add-in more diversity in the off-road market. Analysts also agree with this when they said that the Bronco can change the market perception on the 4×4 segment, thus opening new doors of opportunity for off-road SUVs provided the Wrangler goes on a decline.

Based on such predictions, rumors are now claiming that Toyota will be bringing back the discontinued FJ Cruiser. The word is that the next-gen FJ Cruiser has turned into a project on standby as Toyota monitors how the market will react to the Bronco. If there is truly an opportunity, the FJ Cruiser will get the green light for production.

While it all sounds exciting, the above is still based on rumors and they should be taken with a grain of salt. But of course, if it does come true, we are expecting the FJ Cruiser to replicate the performance of the Toyota Tacoma. What do you think?
