Toyota RAV4 Leaves Nissan Rogue, Honda CR-V Fighting For Second Place!

Last year saw Nissan’s uprising in the crossover scene as the new generation Rogue managed to appeal to the mass market. But towards the end of 2017, the Rogue lost its ground to rival Toyota RAV4 and it looks like there will be no chance for the situation to reverse.

January 2018 showed just that when Toyota marched through the month with the best sales in the crossover segment. Toyota revealed last week that Toyota moved 26,655 RAV4s thus ending the vehicle’s best January yet.

The same can’t be said for the Honda CR-V and Nissan Rogue as both vehicles are far behind on the numbers. This is despite of the fact that both the CR-V and the Rogue posted gains on their respective ends.

If the pace of sales are to remain unchanged throughout the entire calendar, you can expect the RAV4 to end the stiff competition quickly thus leaving rivals with only the second spot to fight for.
