Toyota Taking A Dig At Ford Bronco & Jeep Wrangler With New Beast

The 4×4 SUV segment is finally getting more interesting as Ford is about to revive the Bronco with a new generation model in a bid to end Jeep Wrangler’s dominance. The Bronco is already an iconic name in the market hence the next-gen model carries great prospect for success.

If that is not exciting enough, Toyota too is apparently working in the shadows to produce a brand new 4×4 SUV to compete with the Wrangler and Bronco. A report confirmed earlier today that Toyota has patented the name TJ Cruiser and it got many speculating the vehicle to be the next-gen FJ Cruiser.

The latter was once Toyota’s champion in the 4×4 segment but its inability to contest with the Wrangler has led it to an early axing. The TJ Cruiser, on the other hand, may enjoy greater success in the segment as it is rumored to be the SUV twin for the Tacoma.

Even so, we still don’t know when the TJ Cruiser will make its official unveiling and whether it will have enough to outdo the Bronco and the Wrangler. Only time will tell on this.
