Toyota Tundra Schools Ford Raptor On TRD!

When it comes to performance pickup trucks or trucks that are built for pure, raw power, there is no name in the market that is more popular than the Ford F-150 Raptor. The latter is a beast of a pickup truck as it boasts plenty of power and great all-terrain abilities.

We can’t argue with this fact at all but we do like to point out that the F-150 Raptor may not be the ultimate powerhouse despite being a popular choice in the market.

This very title may belong to the range-topping Toyota Tundra. The Tundra may operate on age-old offerings but it has been recently updated with an add-on that can inject more power into the pickup truck. We had just learned that Toyota is now offering a TRD Supercharger with the Tundra that runs on a 5.7L V8 engine.

With the upgrade, the Tundra can churn out significantly more power and torque than the Ford F-150 Raptor. The Tundra can also sprint from 0-60mph under 4 seconds.

This a big step forward for stock pickup truck performance and it is why we say that the Tundra may overtake the Raptor for powerhouse crown.
