Toyota Turns Subaru Into A Reliable Brand

By  |

Yes, you read that right. Subaru is considered as a reliable brand in the automotive market but it is never on the same level with Toyota, Honda, Nissan and even Mazda.

This year, however, things have changed as Consumer Reports have put Subaru’s name in their top ten charts of reliable car brands in 2017. This accomplishment is owed to the lack of issues found on Subaru vehicles but the biggest credit belongs to Toyota.

If you are to check out Subaru’s profile on Consumer Reports, you will learn that the most reliable vehicle in Subaru’s line-up is actually the BRZ – a car that is built based on Toyota’s parts and blueprint.

The BRZ/86 twin happens to be the only sports car in the overall top 10 reliability charts and it is significantly more reliable than the likes of Impreza and Forester.

We can all blast Toyota for holding Subaru back in tuning the BRZ for a stellar performance but in today’s case, Subaru owes that number 6 spot in the reliability chart to carmaker.
