Toyota Yaris Brings Horror To Ford Fiesta ST!

Yes, you read that right. Toyota is getting more competitive in the performance scene and their first product to show is the Yaris GRMN.

The subcompact hatchback made its official unveiling at Frankfurt earlier today and we are shocked to see the figures on the car. In case you’ve missed it, the Yaris GRM runs on a 1.8L supercharged inline-4 that can develop 205hp.

This is quite a surprise, especially when you consider that most pocket rockets like the Ford Fiesta ST adopts turbochargers over superchargers.

The icing on the cake is with the weight of the Yaris GRMN. At only 2,502lbs, the car has the best power-to-weight ratio in the subcompact scene. The lightness also allows the Yaris GRMN to sprint from 0-62mph in just 6.3 seconds.

We dare say that the Yaris GRM is the ultimate subcompact performance hatch at the moment. If it is not, then we don’t know what is.
