Assassin’s Creed Origins: “It’s Like Dark Souls All Over Again”

Assassin’s Creed Origins is our number one choice for the 2017 Game of the Year award under the AAA category and it is pretty easy to explain why. The game it offers countless gaming hours, plenty of interesting content and a truly open experience.

But unlike how it was back in launch day, Assassin’s Creed Origins has grown to become a really tough game to play and this is thanks to a recent patch that added in a new difficulty mode – Nightmare.

When on this mode, enemy characters will match the player’s level and item superiority thus making them harder to kill. The whole outcome is a nightmare combat experience that feels much like Dark Souls.

The only difference with Assassin’s Creed Origins is that the game has a rich storyline with limitless combat approach whereas Dark Souls is more of endless grinding to beat stronger opponents.
