Dragon Age 4: It’s Not Elves, It’s Just The Inquisitor

By  |

If you have played Dragon Age Inquisition’s Trespasser DLC, then you probably have a rough idea on how the plot in Dagon Age 4 will pan out.

The plot DLC – spoilers ahead- saw Solas admitting to starting the whole confrontation but got his plans foiled by the Inquisitor. Solas then mentioned that the Inquisition has been disbanded since and he will proceed to start the war of wars in a bid to save the elven kind.

At first, you may feel that Solas is being too patriotic for his race as well as manipulative but that is not the case at all. The Elven mage is actually not true to his words and we have proof of this.

We tired playing Inquisition all over again as a pro-elf character and Solas still refuses to acknowledge our existence in the game. We sided with every decision that makes Solas happy but the Trespasser DLC still saw the lad preventing us from following him any further.

This isn’t right at all because we are playing an elf that puts everything Elven ahead so why would Solas dismissed our protagonist and yet still set sail to save the elves? It just doesn’t make sense and Bioware owes us an explanation in this department.

You simply do not understand what Solas means by his “people”. If you had paid attention you’d take note that Abelas, the ancient elf at the Temple of Mythal, insists that even the elven inquisitor is not considered apart of his people. Ancient elves are what Solas views as his people.

Look, I don’t mean to be rude, but if you guys are going to write articles, then do your research. Solas meant everything he said, but the old race of immortal elves are not the same as the Dalish or city elves. If you’re a Dalish Inquisitor you can even have several conversations with him where he essentially dismisses the Dalish and their attempts to retain the Elven culture. There’s another conversation where your Inquisitor can ask him, “exactly who ARE “your” people?” and he replies, “that’s a good question.” Just play the game and pay attention before you start coming up with theories and “proof”, okay?

The Elves people living the actual dragon age are the heirs of Elve slave at his Solas time. Solas race is an old elves, don’t remember the name and immortal but not elves. The mark ( tattoo) on your face, is the evidence that the elves people were slaves of his people. Solas is a kind of Loki, he is immortal and the legend telling that the elves were immortal is wrong. If Solas finalized his plan only his people included the elder gods survived but Elves as human and dwarf will be obliterated.
