E3’s Elder Scrolls Surprise Is Morrowind Remastered?

By  |

If there’s one thing any Elder Scrolls fan would love to see happen at this year’s E3, it is the announcement of Elder Scrolls 6. Elder Scrolls 5 Skyrim has been around for almost 7 years already and it is fair time for a sequel to happen.

The good news here is that Bethesda has teased on an Elder Scrolls-related announcement happening at E3 this weekend. The bad news is that a leak has surfaced online on SteamDB and it strongly suggests the Elder Scrolls announcement to be Morrowind Remastered.

SteamDB basically shows an upcoming unnamed DLC coming to the PC version of Morrowind. For an old game that has not received any updates for so long already, the upcoming content is likely to be a massive technical upgrade for the game.

Keeping in mind that Skyrim recently got ‘remastered’ through Special Edition, there’s a chance Morrowind Special Edition may happen. To further strengthen this expectation, Oblivion on the PC is also listed with a similar upcoming unnamed update.

So, there you have it. A mighty strong leak that unofficially confirms more lengthy delays for Elder Scrolls 6. E3 will cement this expectation so stay tuend.
