Fallout 4: Next Sequel Won’t Improve If Bethesda Remains Stagnant

Fallout 4 is the latest major title launched by Bethesda and it is also the bestselling Fallout game around. However, when it comes to gameplay experience, Fallout 4 is not at the top of the pecking order.

Various online surveys questioning on the best Fallout game around saw the vast majority of the fans siding with Fallout New Vegas. The latest survey has accumulated 197 participants thus far and a whopping 64% of them sided with the old game.

It is an interesting finding because Fallout New Vegas is the only ‘modern’ Fallout game that is not developed Bethesda. It was produced by Obsidian Games instead and the title managed to top the charts in gameplay experience.

It could have been Fallout 4 but the game has purportedly taken two-step backwards in the field of realism. Unless Bethesda is able to change their way of developing Fallout games, Fallout 5 is bound to be no different from Fallout 4 on the experience end. Is this a call for a new developer to build Fallout 5?
