Fallout 5: Bethesda Should Pass The Baton To Obsidian

It is almost 2 years since Bethesda launched Fallout 4 and we can finally pass a verdict on the game. To keep it short, Fallout 4 offers an exciting refresh of the Wasteland but it makes zero sense on the reasonable scale.

We say so because almost everything in Fallout 4 is horribly broken and trashed. Skeletons were seen sitting around everywhere in the game, even in the populated areas. The building tool too offered little excitement as the outcome is mostly rusted.

With that being said, we are now seriously hoping for Fallout 5 to get developed by Obsidian. The latter was responsible for the creation of Fallout New Vegas and we have to say it is the most enjoyable title in the franchise. Almost everything makes sense in New Vegas and the game also offers a more immersive experience of the post-apocalyptic world.

Whether it is a spinoff for Fallout 4 or Fallout 5, Bethesda should just back away and let Obsidian get the job done. Wouldn’t you agree?
