Leak Suggests Rockstar Is Keen On Bully Sequel!

For an average AAA game developer, they will need a golden IP launched at least once a year as failing to do so may leave them with a year of blanks on the financial end.

For Rockstar, this isn’t a problem because it looks like everything they touch turns into gold. The last major game to come from Rockstar is GTA 5 and that is about 4 years ago. GTA 5 turned out to be a record-breaking hit that it leaves Rockstar unworried about not having another game launched for a lengthy period of time.

Today, the circumstances have changed as Rockstar has realized that their break is over and they need to produce a new golden IP. In case you are wondering what it is, Rockstar is currently working on Red Dead Redemption 2.

The sequel to Red Dead Redemption is bound to be as big as GTA 5, especially when you consider that Red Dead is the only other series from Rockstar that can rival GTA’s success.

But of course, there are always risks of failures and perhaps Rockstar felt that Red Dead Redemption 2 can’t buy them enough time to develop GTA 6. They need another IP and it could be a sequel to Bully.

Unlike Red Dead or GTA, Bully is a small-scale video game but with tons of fun to offer. Anyone that has played Bully would greatly welcome Bully 2 and this wish may just come true. Rockstar has not mentioned anything on Bully 2 but a leak has convinced us that the game is in the works.

A pre-production sketch gallery of Bully 2 has surfaced online and we can’t think of anyone that is willing to place an extreme amount of effort to create a realistic hoax.

So if the leak is true and Bully 2 is also in the works, we expect the game to get released in 2019, a year after Red Dead Redemption 2’s debut. It will help expand Rockstar’s line-up of games while also ease the wait for GTA 6.
