Mass Effect Andromeda: Hack Prevention System Disappears

By  |

Mass Effect Andromeda is a game that is built with Denuvo anti-tamp technology. For those who don’t know what that is, the latter is a tool that is commonly used on games to prevent piracy and illegal cracking.

Today, the situation has changed as it appears that Denuvo has been removed from Mass Effect Andromeda. Bioware released a patch for the game very recently ago and it saw the removal of Denuvo. What’s strange about it is that the change was not indicated on the patch notes.

It may sound like Mass Effect Andromeda is more vulnerable now but some fans that have known about it has nothing but positives to say. One lad quoted that the removal makes it easier for the masses to swallow Denuvo’s existence. Another person shared that there is no point in having Denuvo since Andromeda is already cracked.

Well, the latter makes a lot of sense to why Bioware has decided to ditch the system. There is just no point to having Denuvo around when Mass Effect Andromeda is already cracked.
