Mass Effect Andromeda: Questioning Your PC Capabilities

By  |

We are days away from the official release of Mass Effect Andromeda and many can’t wait to play the game. As how it was confirmed by Bioware, Mass Effect Andromeda will be a cross-platform title on launch day and this includes the PC.

Today, EA released the PC requirements for Mass Effect Andromeda and you can check it out below:

Minimum Requirements
– 30 FPS at 1280×720 on Low Settings
– 64-bit Windows 7, Windows 8.1 or Windows 10
– Intel Core i5 3570 or AMD FX-6350
– 8GB RAM
– GTX 660 2 GB / Radeon 7750 2GB
– Direct X 11
– 512 kbps or faster broadband connection required for online gameplay
– At least 55 GB free space

Recommended Settings

– 30 FPS at 1920×1080 on High Settings
– 64-bit Windows 10
– Intel Core i7-4790 or AMD FX-8350
– 16GB RAM
– GTX 1060 3 GB / RX 480 4 GB
– Direct X 11
– 512 kbps or faster broadband connection required for online gameplay
– At least 55 GB free space

While an average rig today can run Mass Effect Andromeda, we are not expecting a smooth experience with the game on launch day. A preview demonstration on the PC from last week saw plenty of graphical lag which suggests that Bioware may still not know how to fully utilize the Frostbite engine, just like how it was with Dragon Age Inquisition.
