Nintendo Switch: Online Service Will Replace Virtual Console

The Nintendo Switch is about to welcome a huge update and it is one that will bring order to the console’s online capabilities. Nintendo calls it the Switch Online Service and it is planned for official activity in September this year.

Nintendo has brought out early details on the Switch Online via their official website and what surprised us here is that the information provided tallies greatly with a rumor that circulated online last week.

Looking back at the rumor will tell you that Switch Online won’t come with Virtual Console and the new feature in place will start off by giving away NES games before moving onto GBA, SNES and N64 in that particular order.

The first-half of the claim has already come true and all the rest will get clarified when Nintendo takes the stage at E3 next month.
