Nintendo Switch Online: Virtual Console Is Still A Possibility

By  |

It is official. Come September this year, the online services for the Nintendo Switch will go live and interested gamers can enjoy it from as little as $1.60 a month.

Nintendo calls it the Switch Online and it hopes to be more interesting than the Microsoft Xbox Live and Sony PS Plus. The first details on the Switch Online was released today and it confirms that the service will grant players online play as well as access to 20 NES games.

It’s a positive offering for gamers on the Switch but a large number of them would still prefer having a Virtual Console – just like how it was with the old Wii and Wii U.

If you’re among them, the only hope left for you is E3 2018. As mentioned before, Nintendo only partially revealed Switch Online. The full details may just see the service coming together with Virtual Console.
