Red Dead Redemption 2: GTA 5’s Business Model Is On The Cards!

Red Dead Redemption 2 is the next big thing to come from Rockstar and the game is expected to be as huge as GTA 5. While Redemption 2 may promise an exciting gameplay experience, we are expecting the game to be very different from the original Red Dead Redemption.

Our prediction is that Red Dead Redemption 2 will tone down on the single player mode and put a little more focus in the game’s online mode. Red Dead Redemption has been pretty much a single player game and the upcoming sequel is going to change that.

Our prediction is made based on Take Two’s latest comments on their upcoming titles. The parent company for Rockstar specifically remarked that they will only release games with ‘recurrent consumer spending hooks’. These may sound like big words but they can be simplified in a single term – microtransactions.

With GTA 5 being the base module for Red Dead Redemption 2, the likes of shark cards are likely to materialize in the western-themed video game. But of course, nothing is official at the moment and we really hope that microtransactions will not ruin Red Dead Redemption 2.
