Red Dead Redemption 2: The Wait Is Nearly Over

Though the developer can continue to live on GTA Online content for the foreseeable future, it still has to move forward and give gamers something new to chew on while everyone waits for GTA 6 which, as it stands at this point, may only arrive in 2020.

The good news is that Red Dead Redemption 2 is in the pipeline and should be launched before the end of the year. The question is when exactly? It seems that Polish retailer Media Markt has an answer.

According to a iDigitalTimes report which quotes a source from Reddit, the retailer was informed by a distributor of the game that it’s due to be rolled out by October 3 later this year. The catch is that that may not be the international launch date, that each different region may differ in release timing for the Red Dead sequel.

Nevertheless, that’s not a reason to be dismayed, as disparities in launch timing between regions shouldn’t be too great. We’ve been waiting for this sequel since 2010, so being patient for an extra couple of weeks won’t exactly kill anyone, right?
