Resident Evil 7 Will Be Skipping 2016 For REmake 2?

By  |

It is no secret that Capcom is developing Resident Evil 7 and the rumours are claiming that the sequel will be coming out later this year. The latest word suggests that Resident Evil 7 will get announced at E3 in June this year.

The way we see it, the rumours is unlikely to happen at all. This is because of Resident Evil 2 Remake which Capcom is developing at the moment. Better known as REmake 2, the game is confirmed to get announced at E3 this year and it will debut later this year.

The odds for Capcom to launch two massive Resident Evil title in a single year is slim to none. Even if Capcom has two separate teams to develop both Resident Evil 7 and REmake 2, we don’t think that it will be a wise business move to launch the two games in close proximity with each other.

Resident Evil 7’s release is imminent but we see it happening next year and not in 2016. Of course, this is just our idea on when Resident Evil 7 will get released. What do you think?

They could also want to release RE: Vendetta movie first, to serve as a prelude to 7.
