Sony PS3, Xbox 360 To Expire In Winter 2018?

There have been a lot of discussions on the games coming out this year but little about the fate of the Microsoft Xbox 360 and the Sony PS3. Better known as the previous generation consoles, both machines have been replaced by a new generation model several years ago.

Despite this known fact, Sony and Microsoft have been keeping the PS3 and Xbox 360 alive as they want to ease gamers in the transition to the PS4 and Xbox One. Well, 3 years is probably more than enough time for fans to accept that the PS3 and 360 are no longer good enough.

New reports have surfaced online claiming that Sony will make the bold move to end their support for the PS3. The happening will occur in September this year and once it happens, Microsoft will follow suit.

This is some bad news for gamers on the previous-generation console because it would mean not being able to play new games that are coming out next year. The only hope left is for the rumours to not come true.
