Star Wars Battlefront 2 Wants Battlefield’s Premium Friends On-Board?

By  |

It was revealed by EA Dice earlier today that the upcoming sequel to Star Wars Battlefront is going to ditch the Season Pass system in favor of something completely different.

While EA Dice has yet to provide a full explanation on the fate of DLCs in Star Wars Battlefront 2, the reports are all indicating on a platform that is similar to how Premium Friends work on the Battlefield series.

In other words, if a player is to purchase a DLC for Star Wars Battlefront 2, he or she can play the extra content with his friends, even if they don’t purchase the DLC. It makes buying DLC totally optional for the players hence the unrequired Season Pass.

But of course, the full details on the above are reserved to get revealed when we get closer to Star Wars Battlefront 2’s release date. Would you prefer the traditional Season Pass method or would you settle for the Premium Friends way of things. Sounds off below.
