The Witcher 4: ‘If Mass Effect Can Do It, So Can We’

By  |

Following the release of The Witcher 3, CD Projekt Red announced that the game is the conclusion to the entire Witcher series hence there won’t be a future sequel.

Well, it appears that CDPR has changed their mind and there may just be a Witcher sequel coming out in the future. CDPR shared earlier today that they have realized the amount of time, effort and money they have spent into making the Witcher Trilogy a success and it will look wasteful if they are to end it just like that. However, if there is going to be a sequel, it can’t have any influence to the main trilogy.

Judging by the sound of it, The Witcher 4 had just taken a step forward into development. The game is also likely to take a page off Mass Effect Andromeda’s playbook as it will need to offer something fresh without disrupting anything from the original trilogy.

If Bioware can pull it off with Mass Effect Andromeda, we don’t see why CDPR can’t do the same for The Witcher 4. Would you like to see it happen?
