After more than years of wait and counting, any gamer will agree that Half Life 3 should be Valve’s priority when the opportunity to launch a third major instalment of an existing IP arise but this is not going to be the case at all.

Valve spoke in an interview very recently ago and they managed to hype up their fans after opening up to the idea of expanding their existing IPs into a massive trilogy. But the unfortunate thing here is that, Valve specifically mentioned Left 4 Dead 3 while ignoring everything that is Half Life related.

The Half Life fans have been very loud throughout the wait for Half Life 3 hence Valve would be lying if they say that there isn’t a strong enough craze for the sci-fi flick. So why are they still deprive the fans of Half Life 3? Even a section of Left 4 Dead lovers have revealed that Half Life 3 deserves to get developed ahead of Left 4 Dead3.

The statement from Valve is as follow:

“Products are usually the result of an intersection of technology that we think has traction, a group of people who want to work on that, and one of the game properties that feels like a natural playground for that set of technology and design challenges. When we decided we needed to work on markets, free to play, and user generated content, Team Fortress seemed like the right place to do that. That work ended up informing everything we did in the multiplayer space. Left 4 Dead is a good place for creating shared narratives.”
