Android One S3: Don’t Mistake Me For An iPhone

By  |

What you’re looking at above is not a picture of the old iPhone 5C. While the resemblance may be strong, the device in the image above is actually the all-new Android One S3.

The new Android One happens to adopt a more colourful approach in hope to gain greater appeal in the midrange market. But what’s even more exciting is the hardware resting beneath the vibrant casing.

The Android One S3 features a 5” 1080p screen and it runs on Snapdragon 430 with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The battery has a capacity of 2,700mAh and this is quite big for a ‘small’ smartphone.

The only debatable aspect of the Android One is with its price. The device is not available here in the US but over in Japan, it retails at around $300 (after conversion). This is above average for a midrange phone and it may hold the device back on the sales front.
