Apple iPhone 8 vs Samsung Galaxy Note 8: Different Gen, Same Outcome

By  |

It is starting to feel like the Samsung vs Apple rivalry is an endless loop that repeats itself annually. Every year, Apple launches a new iPhone and the device will immediately get compared to the Samsung Galaxy Note.

And out of those comparisons, it will often see the Note series boasting the better performance than the iPhone. Things are no different today with the Galaxy Note 8 and the iPhone 8. The two phones have been compared on various speed tests and they all saw the Note 8 winning the battle.

The Note 8 is equipped with Samsung’s Exynos 8895 SoC and this happens to be faster than Apple’s A11 Bionic chip. Despite boasting superior processing speed, some things never changed and it is that the iPhone 8 still offer a smoother experience.

This is owed to the iOS system, which offers great software-hardware integration. The Note 8 certainly improved on this front but it is still a little behind in terms of stutter-free experience.

With that being said, it is perhaps accurate to call the Apple-Samsung rivalry as an endless cycle of similar outcomes. What do you think?
