Can Samsung Galaxy Book Compete With Microsoft Surface Pro 5?

By  |

The Surface Pro tablets from Microsoft has never failed to offer the ultimate tablet experience and this explains why many are excited for the upcoming Surface Pro 5. The latter is expected to arrive in Q3 this year and it is also likely to run on the latest available processors.

However, we don’t expect things to be easy for the Surface Pro 5 as the tablet may face stronger competition this year. This is because Samsung had just revealed on a brand new Galaxy Book that is said to have the capabilities to compete with the Surface Pro 5.

The Galaxy Book will come out in two trims that are separated by their screen size and hardwares. The base model will have a 10” display whereas the second model will feature a 12” screen. The former will have a 1080p resolution and it will be powered by the latest Intel Core M3. The larger Galaxy Book, on the other hand, is powered by an Intel Core i5.

This makes it certain that the Galaxy Book won’t be a joke on the performance front. The i5-powered model will definitely be tailored for greater productivity due to its performance capabilities but will it be enough to challenge the upcoming Microsoft Surface Pro 5?
