Essential Phone 2 Needs To Justify Single-Port Application!

The first Essential Phone can be described as a success for Andy Rubin, even when the device has been plagued by a major reception issue. Things will certainly improve on the next-gen model and we believe that the addition of one particular feature can seal the deal.

In our eyes, the only thing missing on the Essential Phone that has prevented it from becoming a top player is IP6X certification. Yes, the 3.5mm audio jack port is also a feature worth mentioning but there is no point in hoping for it to appear on the Essential Phone 2 due to the current market trends.

The original Essential Phone does not come with removable batteries and an audio jack port thus making it fitting for extreme water resistance. Unfortunately, the device does not have an IP6X certification hence doing no justice to the structural setup of the device.

This will need to change in Essential Phone 2 if Andy Rubin and the gang wants to see an incline in the market. The Essential Phone 2 is expected to have a single-port USB Type-C setup and getting a proper IP6X certification can seal the deal. What do you wish to see in the Essential Phone 2?
