Google Android O Experiencing A Delayed Release?

By  |

Exactly a year ago, Google announced on the development of Android N and even provided a Dev preview of the system. Several months later in July of 2016, the development gave birth to Android 7.0 Nougat.

Well, that was a year ago and things are different today. Rumors that were suggesting the announcement of Android O to occur in the past 24 hours are clearly making a mistake as that did not happen at all. Google was tight-lipped in regards to Android O and we don’t know exactly when the next-gen system will be making its debut.

Now, new rumors have popped up and they are hinting on a delay for Android O. The word is that Google is still pending to launch Android Nougat 7.1.2 and until that happen, they won’t say a word on the next-gen Android system.

If the announcement is to happen at Google I/O, then it is highly unlikely for Android O to arrive in July this year. Even August sounds too early for Android O’s release. We don’t know about you but it is starting to look like the new rumors are spot on this time round.
