Google Nexus 6P Replacement Is Not The Pixels, It’s A ZTE!

It is official. The Nexus brand has been retired and its replacement is the all-new Pixel phones from Google. Being a huge Nexus fan, it is saddening to see the Nexus getting discontinued as we are yet to acknowledge the Pixels as the true successor.

It was only then when we realized that there is a proper upgrade for the Nexus 6P but it is not called a Nexus. Instead, it is a ZTE. The China-based tech manufacturer had just developed a brand new phone and it is called the Axon 7.

This particular device deserves to be perceived as a Nexus 6P replacement because it is packed with Google-exclusive features and it runs on flagship hardwares. The best part is that the Axon 7 is cheap, unlike the Pixel phones.

The Axon 7 has a 5.5” QHD screen and it is powered by the Snapdragon 820 SoC with 6GB of RAM. The device is fully compatible with Google Daydream VR and it is about to receive the Android 7.0 Nougat update.

With such an offering, it ease the pain of not seeing another Nexus device getting released as the Axon 7 is good enough to take over from the Nexus 6P. Google may not badge the device as a Nexus but we see the Nexus name already engraved on the Axon 7.
