iPhone X: Numbers Show Apple Held Back With iPhone 8 Plus

Apple has already launched the iPhone 8, 8 Plus and the X but just like previous iPhone launchings, the tech giant does not offer any hardware figures.

Yet again, we will still need to depend on leak specifications to know the numbers that comes with the new generation iPhones and we got just that today. A regulatory filing from China surfaced online earlier today and it indicated that the iPhone X boasts the biggest battery out of the three iPhones.

The X has a 2,716mAh battery whereas the larger iPhone 8 Plus has a 2691mAh pack. Some find this hard to accept because the iPhone 8 Plus is bigger hence it should be able to hold a larger battery. But because the X is more power hungry, Apple has decided to offer the biggest pack on the device.

There is no wrong to what these folks are saying and it does suggest that Apple held back on the battery front. The superb hardware-software integration has ensured satisfying battery life on the iPhones and Apple can easily offer extreme battery life if they were to settle for larger batteries. Too bad that it is not happening.
