Nexus 6P Can’t Last Longer Than Nexus 6

By  |

It seems that Google has run out of love for the Nexus phones. This is evident when Google took the Nexus 6P out of the Play Store to make room for their newest product, the Pixel and Pixel XL.

Everything is wrong with this move, especially when you look into the timing of things. Previous Nexus phones will get replaced by a newer device on the Play Store in late November onwards but it is not the case for the Nexus 6P. The latter was pulled out far too early, in the first week of October. What gives?

If you think that is bad, wait till you hear about the lack of support being offered by Google on the Nexus 6P. In case you are unaware, the flagship phone from Google is still pending to receive the Android 7.0 Nougat update.

It goes to say that Google has zero love left for the Nexus nameplate and they just want to move on to the Pixel phones. We have heard about bad breakups in relationships and this could possibly be it for the tech industry.
