Nokia 8 Gets A Head Start Over Apple iPhone 8

The Nokia 8 is one of the most anticipated smartphones right now and it is easy to understand why. Leaks, teasers and rumors are all suggesting that the Nokia 8 will be the biggest challenge to the next-gen Apple iPhone and this is due to its flagship specs and stock-Android experience.

While still unofficial, the Nokia 8 is heavily linked to run on Snapdragon 835 with 6GB of RAM. The phone is also tipped to have a 5.3” QHD screen and a premium full-metal finish.

Today, the reports went a step further in claiming that the Nokia 8 will become available for purchase on August 16. This is in 3 weeks from now and it is also about a month ahead of the iPhone 8’s debut. If this is spot on, then it is right to say that the Nokia 8 will get a month head start in sales over the iPhone 8.

The Nokia 8 promises the most optimized Android experience around, all-while retailing well under the market average. At this rate, we don’t see why the Nokia 8 can’t capture a big slice of the market thus allowing Nokia to end the year on a high.
