OnePlus 3 vs Samsung Galaxy S7: Who’s Quicker To Nougat?
The all-new OnePlus 3 is really a great smartphone to own but unlike previous devices from OnePlus, the 3 is unable to keep up with the mainstream flagship phones from this year. Even so, the OnePlus 3 is still a value-for-money device as it is equipped with premium hardwares while also retailing with an affordable price tag.
The only problem with the OnePlus 3 is with the after sales support from OnePlus. The China-based firm has been notoriously slow when it comes to patching or offering updates to their existing devices and things are not expected to get better for the OnePlus 3.
But then again, the same can be said for Samsung. The South Korean tech firm takes at least 4 months on average to roll out a firmware update for their flagship devices. Hence, we are not expecting to receive the Android 7.0 Nougat on our Galaxy S7 at least until early next year.
This brings up one big question. Which will be getting the Android 7.0 Nougat update – the Galaxy S7 or the OnePlus 3? It will be an interesting watch because OnePlus has promised to be better with offering updates in the future but can they hop over Samsung? What do you think?
