OnePlus 5: Be Prepared For A Massive Price Hike

By  |

Vanilla Android phones are much loved for their stock Android experience, flagship specifications and also low pricing, and most of them are developed by a China-based company.

One of the most successful names in this segment is OnePlus and very soon from now, the firm will be launching their next flagship device – the OnePlus 5. The rumors are rife in claiming that the OnePlus 5 will match the hardwares on the Galaxy S8 and it will also come with dual-lens camera.

Today, a photo (see above) of the OnePlus 5 surfaced online and it tallies with what the rumors are claiming. These same rumors are also saying that the OnePlus 5 will retail under $650 and the fact that they opted for those figures hint on a massive price hike.

The last OnePlus phone came out retailing at around $400 and its successor may be priced around $500. Otherwise, the rumors wouldn’t have placed an extremely high figure for the upcoming flagship phone. The $650 tag will help condition interested parties into accepting a higher official price.

Nah… $650 is too much for minimal design device without bluetooth 5 (dual connection) and no 3.5 jack….

    I’ll go for $900 Note 8….
